R«a| Estate Activity.
An increase in different realty
transfers as set forth in The Fulton
County Dally Report show's the ten
dency of real estate to assume its
normal aspect in the market. To
day’s issue of this publication con
tained seventeen bond for title items
and 32 warranty deed items, and led
several real estate men to remark
that the number was the best and
most complete that The Report hat-
ever issued.

Road Work at Buckhead.
County convicts are working fast
to complete improvements on Peach-
, Ro . a . <, > anticipating increased
traffic which will come about June 1
when the Capital City Club takes
charge of its country club at Brook-
havem The right-hand side of Peach
tree Road, starting at Buckhead. has
been macadamized nearly as far north
as W. S Witham's estate, and only
awaits .he steam roller to be put in
good shape. Space between the car
tracks has been taken on this north
ward trudge of the convicts. The
work will proceed to the DeKalb
County line and then the gang will
turn back toward Buckhead.
County Commissioners are well sat
isfied with the work and predict that
Peachtree Road will be in very good
shape when Capital City golfers'take
their sticks to Brookhaven.
To Widen Roswell Road.
The proposition of widening the
Roswell Road from Buckhead to Pied
mont Road (formerly Plaster Bridge
Road) has been revived. A year or
two ago this matter was agitated. All
property owners except one agreed to
give 10 to 20 feet, and the opposition
of the single owner blocked the pro
ject. Now E. T. Luckie, of the Holmes
&. Luckie Realty Company, has
taken up the matter again, and he
expresses confidence in the outcome.
Mr. Luckie’s idea is to lay out the
Roswell Road so that whenever the
demand is great enough on the part
of the people along the route, a car
line can he built to Roswell. Either
this or the street car company can
leave the wide thoroughfare to ve
hicular traffic and establish a private
right-of-way close by.
