Peachtree Sale of Record.
A. W. VanHoose, of Rome, seller,
and Ben J. Massell, buyer, have put
on record papers conveying a 21 by
158 foot lot on Peachtree for $25,296.
This property is on the ea.st side of
Peachtree. 223 feet north of Pine
Street, and is in litigation through a
suit filed several days ago to recover
part of two acres in this block. The
petitioners are suing the people hold
ing the original deeds, and not tho.-,?
having bond-for-title interests.
Dr. VanHoose retains some 42 feet
in a 63-foot parcel which he pur
chased several months ago from Por
ter Langston. The 21-foot strip to
Mr. Massell brought approximately
$1,205 a front foot.
