->u v f . TTTT: 'ATT,ANT A' GEORGIAN AND NEWS, IS y PONY CONTEST DRAWS ' ENTRANTS, CERTAIN OF SUCCESS, FROM AFAR Atlanta children were the ftrat to catch the fire of enthusiasm In The (Georgian and American pony contest. The children out 1n the State and outside Georgia were a little slow at first. But how they are coming: now! Every mall brings a heap of letters from distant addresses, and the letters are full of “ginger." Every girl or boy seems sure of winning. Dorothy Davis, of Dothan, Ala,, writes: have my subscription hook, and so I am going to work In earnest now." “Please send me subscription blanks* etc., so I can win a pony," as O. 8. Morton, Jr., writes. Is a more frequently used wording. The flood of mall Is becoming a serious problem. Once this week two men in the contest department worked all night answering letters, and then did not catch up entirely with the work. It Is hopsd, therefore, that contestants who do not receive answers the following day will re member that it Is not always possible to go through all the letters, check all the votes and keep up with the routine work of the contest In a day, and be patient.
