A good deal has been said of late about railroad operations, the proposed Bleckley plaza, which will extend to Forsyth street, and of proposed manufactories along railroad rights of way. Now comes the an nouncement that the Spring street viaduct project has been revived. A well-known citizen Is telling his friends that he will make the race for council with the Spring street viaduct as one of his platform planks. A survey of the ground necessary’ for this Improvement was made by Captain R. M. Clayton, Chief of Con struction, and the idea is for the south end of the bride to strike Madison avenue. There has been a growing tendency to bring the Terminal Station nearer the center of the city and nearer the Union Station ,and advocates of the Spring street viaduct anticipate that such an improvement will contribute largely to this effect. The Bleckley Plaza would also serve this end. The Spring street bridge would be several hundred feet long and the idea would be to make It uniform in height with the other viaducts. The Forsyth street bridge is now highest, with the Broad and Whitehall struc tures about on a line. Brown Building Alterations. The block of buildings of the Jo seph E. "Real estate Is the best security for money,” declared Mr. McKinney, "and I would loan on any kind of At lanta property that was worth any thing.
