The Georgia Railway and Electric
Company has given the American
Trust Company, of Massachusetts, a
supplemental mortgage on all its
lines, conduits, ducts, poles and cer

Decatur, acquired or constructed
since the execution of a principal in
denture on January 1, 1909. The prin
cipal indenture was to secure an Is

Disposal Plant Completed.
News that the city’s sew r age dis
posal plant on Peachtree Creek is
soon to be completed has aroused a
good deal of interest in realty and
construction circles. For se v eral years
Peachtree Creek has been a problem
to property owners near It, but new
that sanitary measures are being
taken, owners look for steady en
hancement. R. M. Sullivan took the
contract for the plant after Chester
A. Dady gave it up. The structure
will cost $160,000, and will be ready
for use about September 20.
