The Crackers and Vols divided a dou
ble-header here this afternoon. Billy
Smith's men took the first game, 3 to 1,
when Agler delivered a timely triple in
the eighth inning. The visitors took the
i second game, 5 to 2.
FIRST INNING
Holland dropped Daley’s high foul. Da
ley then slammed a screaming double
to left. Callahan tried to lay down a.
bount hut failed three times and was out
on strikes. Spratt sent a grass-cutter
to Bisland arid was out to Agler. Gib
son did the Casey stunt. Chapman drop
ped the third strike, but threw him out
at first. ONE HIT. NO RUNS.
Long was given free transportation to

to Hofman. Perry and Hofman disposed
of Welchonce. On a wild pitch Long
scampered over the counting station.

FIRST INNING.
Daley started off for Nashville with a
clean single to left. Callahan tripled to
the scoreboard and Daley tallied. Spratt
hit a one-timer to left and Callahan reg
istered. Thompson was taken out of the
box at this stage and was relieved by
Clark Noyes fouled out to Smith. Spratt
was out trying to steal second, Dunn to
Smith. Young singled to center. Perry
singled to center and Young raced to
the third cushion. Perry stole second
Hofman lined out to Welchonce. FIVE

Long fiied to Callahan. Agler fiied to
Daley. Welchonce smashed a double to
center. Smith filed to Callahan. ONE

Lindsay was safe when Agler failed to
hold his hot grounder. Fleharty slam
med a one-timer to center and Lindsay
