Thousands of dollars in other prizes for individuals. The Contest is now open. Any church, lodge 02
other organization or any individual, man or woman, boy or girl, may enter. See the Want Ad Man
Any person residing in the territory in which The Hearst’s Sunday Ameri
can and The Atlanta Georgian circulates is eligible to enter the contest.
The Contest Manager reserves the right to reject any nominations.
Candidates may nominate themselves or be nominated by a friend.
The Contest opened Aug. 15 and willl close at midnight Nov. 15, 1913.
No office employee or member of an office employee’s immediate family of
Hearst ’s American and Atlanta Georgian can enter the contest.
Coupon Books valued at $2.50 and $5.00 in classified advertising will be
sold by the contestants.
4,000 votes will be given for the sale of a $2.50 book.
10,000 votes will be given for the sale of a $5.00 book.
The votes will be convassed by an impartial committee.
In case of a tie the prize will be divided between the contestants tying.
These rules are subject to change by Hearst’s American and The Atlanta
Georgian.
Any questions which may arise will be settled by the Contest Manager
and his decision will be absolute and final.

PRIZES FOR ORGANIZATIONS
To the organization polling the largest number of
votes in the contest will be awarded $1,000 in gold.
To the organization polling the second highest num
ber of votes in the contest will be awarded $500 in fur
niture of their own selection.
INDIVIDUAL PRIZES
To the man, woman, boy or girl polling the largest
number of votes in the contest will be awarded a five-
passenger touring ear.
To the man, woman, boy or girl polling the second
largest number of votes in the entire contest will be
awarded a tour to California, choosing your own com
panion with all expenses paid.
After the two grand prizes have been awarded there will be
several other prizes awarded according to class as follows:
BOYS’ CLASS
To the boy polling the largest number of votes after the two grand prizes
have been awarded will be given a motorcycle.
To the bov polling the second largest number of votes after the two grand
prizes have been awarded will be given a business college scholarship.
To the boy polling the third largest number of votes after the two grand
prizes have been awarded will be given a gold watch and chain.
