The Contest Manager reserves the right to reject any nominations. Candidates may nominate themselves or be nominated by a friend. The Contest opened Aug. 15 and willl close at midnight Nov. 15,1913. No office employee or member of an office employee’s immediate family of Hearst’s American and Atlanta Georgian can enter the contest. Coupon Books valued at $2.50 and $5.00 in classified advertising will be sold by the contestants. 4,000 votes will be given for the sale of a $2.50 book. 10,000 votes will be given for the sale of a $5.00 book. The votes will be convassed by an impartial committee. In case of a tie the prize will be divided between the contestants tying.
