Dakota Farm Sales Net $112,000 Total Plenty of Bidders Found—Deals Go to Record—Fifteenth Street Lots Transferred. The total of farm tracts sold on Thursday in the Dakota farm sub division near Ashburn. Turner Coun ty. by J. Hope Tigner. of the Edwin P. Ansley real estate agency, was $112,000, an average of nearly $50 an acre. Fifteen hundred people were present, and there were 200 bidders The total of lots fold was 64. and 40 of these were sold in 25 minutes. The tracts were 26 to 100 acres. All of the farms were sold to farm ers who will move in at once. The tracts are well watered and all in cotton. Among Atlanta people present were K. Y McBermle. of Chamblee; W. H. Alien. A. A. Result of Directors’ Meeting. Real estate dealers were much en couraged Friday over the prospect o' landing the 1916 convention of the National Association of Real Estate Exchanges, the directors of the At lanta Real Estate Board having met Thursday with Charles P. Glover and Indorsed the movement. Mr. Glover, Harris G. White, president of the realty board, and General A. J. West spoke in favor of the project. A res olution was passed calling on the real estate men and the public in gen eral to help get this convention, and it is probable that in a abort while some definite plan of action will be submitted. The constitution and by-laws and complete list of members and firms of the Atlanta Real Estate Board will be contained in the new handbook to be published October 1, as announced at the meeting. Mr. Glover, J. H. Ewing and Edgar Morris were appointed a committee to design a distinctive seal for the use of the realty men in advertising. Interesting Transfers. R. D.
