Two months ago Mr. Cabaniss re fused *37.500 cash for this lot. pre ferring to hold and swap with Mr. Parrott. Mr. Parrott gave in part payment his home at No. 671 Pied mont avenue, between Fifth and Sixth streets, and it was Mr. Cabaniss who persuaded him to give up his plan to elect a ore-story bungalow at a cos? of $12,000 on the northwest corner of Peachtree and Seventh street*. The bungalow’s stone foundations were laid when the workmen were called off Now Seventh street has been cut through to West Peachtree, and this gives Mr. Parrott a corner value that enable him to lease at 99 years on much better terms than would have been possible otherwise with the Goode property. Both the Goode corner and the Cab aniss lot are in an exclusive neigh borhood, which haa been marked a long time for improvement with a big apartment house. The Cabaniss place adjoins the John D. Little resi dence at the northwest corner of Peachtree and Eighth streets. It was reported sold some months ago to John G. Burekhardt for $36,000, but the papers were never transferred.
