Ella Powell, of New York, formerly
of Atlanta, and her teacher, Mrs.
John Macy.
She is to demonstrate Miss Powell's
lecture on "The Psychology of Mu
sic," at the same time exhibiting
what perhaps is the most wonderful
accomplishment of all her career
ihe power of song.
At the head of the arrangements
for the entertainment of Miss Keller
and her companions is Mrs. Helen
Plane, of the United Daughters of
the Confederacy, to whom is due the
erSdlt for gaining Miss Keller’s con
sent to visit Atlanta.
And now the club and society
women of Atlanta are talking over
the problem of entertaining suitably
a very talented young woman who is
blind and deaf, but who has devel
oped through^sheer force of charac
ter, and wonderfullj patient teach
ing, an array of accomplishments and
