Marshall Field * Co. in their weekly
review of the dry goods trade say:
'There haa been a seasonable activity
In dry goods distribution during the
week, even with unseasonable weather
for retail selling. Cash receipts have
shown an Increase over those of the
same period a year ago which s*ems
to indicate that with the marketing of
crops retailers are making satisfactory
collections, enabling them to liquidate
their own obligations Shipments for
the month ar« ahead of last November.
