Peters street for 2,000 feet, thence north to the tracks, thence back to the viaduct, is
a district soon to be put into team track, with capacity for 300 cars, with 43-font

Mr. Robert Maddox said a few weeks ago:
“Georgia is the most prosperous State in the Union to-day,
and Georgia people should take advantage of this opportunity to
invest their profits, not in this, that and the other thing which
may perish or deteriorate in value, but should invest it to a large
degree in real estate.”
Mr. Maddox also said: “The bank clearings of Atlanta
have showed an increase of $1,000,000 per week for the last
eight weeks.”
Mr. Maddox is a man who is constantly “behind the gun*
of finance, railroadism, the interests of Atlanta and this section.
What he says is like “potted” wisdom.
