WAYCROSS, March 3. —North
bound Southern passenger train No.
30, Jacksonville to Columbia, 8. C.,
was ditched three miles north of
Folkston to-day. A number of pergons
including members of the train crew
arelreported injured, but none seri

ficlals of the Atlantic Coast Line
rushed to the scene. All traffic is
being detoured by way of Waycrosn.l

brother and sister of Mrs. Nellie M.
Morse, of Cincinnati, for whom a
search has been made over several
States, were located through Knox
ville acquaintances to-day. .
The children parted fourteen years
ago following the death of their
mother. One sisters is dead. The sur
viving sister and the brother are liv
ing near Richmond.

shooting himself in the head, Z. A.
Gabert, an e'ectrical engineer, al

to hiz, wife, who rushed into the room

Gabert had been ill for several
years and while despondent got hold
of a pistol at his home at Woodlawn
and sent a bullet into his brain, dying
in a few minutes. He leaves a wife
and three children.

Approves Bank Bill
DURHAM, N. C, March 3.—John
Sprunt Hill, a lecal financier, left to
day for Washington to appear before
the joint committee of the Senate and
House to oppose the Morse-Fletcher
bill for rural banks.
“I am not opposed to rural banks,
but don’t think the bill will be for the
gest interests of the couniry,” sald

Mr. Hill was a member of fhe
United States commiseion sent to Eu
rope to study rural credits.
