for shall be an ordinary, a clerk of the
Superior Court, a sheriff, a tax colleo
tor, a tax recelver, a coroner, a coun
ty surveyor and a county treasurer;
that sald officers shall be commissioned
as now required by law, and all laws
now in force in this State to commission
officers and for bonds required of them
shall be applicable to the officers so
elected; that the officers elected at sald
general election shall hold their offices
until the next general election for coun
t{ officers and until their successors are
elected and qualified.
The General Assembly is hereby giv
en power to create any additional stat
utory officers in said county or statu
tory courts, and to Xrov!de by law for
filling sald offices. ny vacancies that
may occur before the next general eleo
tion in any of the offices created by
sald county may be fllled as now pro
vided by law.
The sald County of Candler shall be
attached to the First Congressional Dis
trict, the Middle Judiclal Circuit and
the Seventeenth Senatorial District, but
it shall be in the (power of the General
Assembly at any t{me to change the ju
dicial circuit to which said County of
Candler s atached, and the General As
sembly of Georgia is hereby given power
to change said County of Candler in ar
ranging Congressional and Senatorial
districts as {s now provided by law.
That the Superfor Court in said County
of Candler shall be held on the third
Monday in February and August months
of each year, but {t shall be within the
power of the General Assembly at any
time by law to change the time of
holding the courts and the number of
terms thereof. That the justices of the
peace and constables residing in the ter
ritory included within the new Countx
of Candler shall exercise the duties an
powers of their office until new mili
tla districts are laid out in sald County
of Candler as now provided by law; and
that all of the provislons of the law as
contained in Chapter 13 of the Code of
1910 are hereby made applicable to the
said County of Candler whenever the
same s created; that all of the general
laws in this State, in addition to the
above, having apg!!cat!on to the statu
tory counties of this State, are hereby
made applicable to the sald County of
Candler, especially the law in refer
ence to holding elections for the pur
{mse of creating a debt for sald coun
ty; that when this amendment {s adopt
ed, the said County of Candler so
created by the adoption of this amend
ment shall become in all respects &
statutory county and shall be governed
by all lJaws now in force In this State
