present, and almost each day of the

at the Dryid Hills Golf Club, the
Pledmont Driving Club, the Capital
City Club or the Athletic Club at
East Lake.
Four hundred guests attended the
special holiday dinner-dance given at
the Druid Hills Golf Club. Each
apartment was lavishly decorated
and the reception hall and ballroom
had a mural decoration of cedar
festooned from gilt wall baskets, fill

lights and a deep band of red immor

canopy of garlands of cedar starred
with little red lights added to the
beauty of the scene, ‘
The singing of Miss Beity Lee, a
gifted Southern girl, and the duncing‘
of Miss Claude Bacon, of New York,
were special features arranged for
the affair. Many prominent visitors
were honor guests in parties, and the
affair was one of the most beautiful
ever given at this club.
For the tea-dance at the Piedmont
Driving Club on Wednesday after
noon, every avallable space was
taken by parties arranged for con
genial groups. Holiday decorations
prevalled in all apartments and many
of the parties arranged for visitors
had an especially elaborate decora
tion sultable for the season.
Following the tea-dance a large
number remained for dinner. The
dancing of Miss Rosa Coates and her
partner, Mr. Wickland, of New York,
who have appeared at all the tea
dances and dinner-dances given at
the Pledmont Driving: Club during the
holiday season, was a feature,
