of lost goods who, having means of
knowing the rightful owner, retains
them for the finder's own use or advan
fage, may upon conviction thereof be
punished for simple larceny. A person
who finds lost goods is lefally liable to
the rlqhtful owner for their Proper care
while in the finder's %onesu on, and he
is legally entitled to be reimbursed for
expenses incurred in properly carln‘htor
the goods found, andwmny retain them
until such expenses are pald.
