The gowns worn by the women on
Wednesday evening at the produc
tion of the opera “La Sonnambula”
were as elegant as at the premiere
performance, The boxes glittered
with diamonds and other jewels,
The sudden fall of the thermometer
caused many to* keep thelr gorgeous
wraps about their shoulders, and
gayer colors than often appear in the
toiletter themselves were seen in these
marvelous coats of satin, chiffon and
silver cloth,
