The marriage of Miss Charlotte
Fogg and Dr. Augustus Homer Frye,
of Griffin, took place at 9 o’clock on
Wednesday evening at the home of
the bride's parents! Mr. and Mrs. W,
H. Fogg. Mrs. H. M. Brown, of Gaff
ney, 8. C., was matron of honor. Miss
Julia Fogg was her sister’s maid of
honor, Misses Irene Hancock and
Mary Gray were bridesmaids, Dr.

The bride wore white satin and
tulle embroidered in seed pearls. The
veil hung from a circle of orange
blossoms. She carried a shower bou
quet of orchids and valley lilies. Mrs.
Brown, matron of honor, wore white
tulle and carried pink roses. Miss
Julin Fogg wore white Georgette
crepe and Easter lilies. Miss Irene
Hancock was gowned in green taffeta
and sgilver lace, and Miss Mary Gray
wore pink taffeta and carried a show
ar bouquet of pink sweetpeas and
valley lilles. The little flower girl
wore white net and taffeta. The
bride’s mother, Mra. Fogg, wore gray
taffeta and corsage of orchids. Mrs.
. B. Frye, of (riffin, was gowned in
blue satin and white crepe and wore
srchids.,
Miss Elizabeth Robinson and Mrs.
A. V. Stokes served punch.

Many supper parties were enter
tained after the opera Wednesday
evening at the Georgian Terrace and
fully 200 guests enjoyed the dancing
later. Among those who gave large
parties were Mr. and Mrs. John Mur
phy, with twenty guests; Mr. and
Mrs. W. 8. Byck, twenty; Cator
Woolford, elzghteen young people, and
Dr. J. G. Willlams, with twelve guests,
The other parties consisted of six and
‘eight guests.

dancing will take place in the lobby,
lounge and mezzanine floor, as the

The Atlanta Woman's Missionary
Association, which supports the Trav
elers’ Aid work, will meet in the Cen
trdl Congregational Church Friday at
3:30 a’clock. The meeting will be
opened by the Rev. William A. Lee,
pastor of Central Congregational
Church, and the address will be made
by Dr. Henry Alford Porter, pastor of
‘the Second Baptist Church, on “Per
sonal Service.” Reports will be given
and officers for the ensuing year will
