With One of the Leading
Shoe Dealers of Atlanta
Mr, J. K. Jones. of Jones’ Shoe
Store, 25 West Mitchell street, gave
the writer some amazing facts. He
said: “Little did | dream of the tre
mendous business that | now have
would be mine when | opened my
new store at this location, which is
considered one of the best on the
street. My first Saturday’s business
opengd my eyes, and the next two
Saturdays my store was so crowded
and the people in front of my win
dows that we had to have six extra
salesmen. | have more than estab
lished a business. 1 have created a
demand for the class bf shoes that |
sell, and it has forced me to hfive a
buyer at the’big shoe cities to meet
the demand.” The above. interview
was very i«)tercsting to ime,vas | have
watched his business grew by leaps
and bounds, until now Mr. Jones is
considered one of the leading shoe
men in the South. His mechanical
effects in his window have drawn
huge crowds, and the cleanliness of
his store and the courtesy have been
an important factor. Mr. Jones tells
me that owing to the limited space
he has, he will be compelled to dou
ble his sheiving quarters. It is with
great pride that Atlanta looks upon
Mr. Jones as one of her successful
€ons in business--and have paid a
great tribute to his integrity by fiM
ing his store to its capacity.—Adver
tisement.
