termined to intervene, and, according
to the Greek Legation in Rome, thig

ponyi, leader of the oposition, made
a sharp attack on the Austrian mili
tary administration in the Hungarian
Parliament,
Count Apponyi declared that a
grave defeat had been administered
to the dual monarchy's army at Lutsk
by the Russians which the Govern
ment had attempted to coneeal,
“This completely changed the Aus
trians’ eastern front,” he asserted
“It is necessary that we should re
celve guarantees that there be no
recurrence of such a disaster.”

uel Untermeyer, who was operated
on yesterddy, passed a good night, it
was announced today and his rapid
recovery is expected.
