Add the juice of two fresh lemons to three ounces of orchard white and shake well in a bottle. Strain the lemon juice two or three times through a fine cloth so no pulp gets into the lotion, then it will keep fresh for months. Regardless of what price you pay or how highly advertised, there is nothing else really morc mer itorious in beautifying, softening and clearing the skin. As a tan and blem ish remover, also to remove oiliness and sallowness, lemon juice has no rival, Massage it into the face neck and arms once or twice each day, and just see if it doesn't bring out the roses and hidden bheauty! Lemcens have always been used to bleach the skin, but pure lemon juice {s too highly acid, therefore should never be used except in this manner. 1f properly prepared, this sweetly fragrant lotion will speak for itself. Any drtig store will supply the three ounces of orchard white at very lit tle cost, and the grocer will supply the lemons.—Advertisement, You like inanimate companions, well as those of flesh and blood, that are good thru and thru. Hence, in the selection of your home-furnishings you avoid the tawdry and the sham, and choose those better expressions of refinement and good taste. And that is why you have always admired GENUINE cut glassware. But the prices in retail stores have been so high that persons of moderate means could afford only two or three pieces, at most; whereas, here are eight een perfectly matched pieces, every one of them usgeful as well as beautifvl; and the price of the entire set is probably less than you have paid for any single piece that you may now have.
