M. J. Lehrritter, better known as
the “Ambrosia Man,* traveling the
Southern States for the Ambrosia

week visiting Wright Campbell, who
is the jobber in this section for this

Mr. -Lehrritter says that he finds

dealers who are handling Ambrosia
will have a better business this spring
and summer than they had last year,
and last year's business was away
above all expectations.
Business with Campbell is still on
the up grade and his lines of cigars
are going “over the top.”

; What was considered. the biggest
year in the history of the furniture
“business has just passed, yet accord
ing to Mr. Johnson, manager of the
Sterchi Furniture and Carpet Com
pany, 1917 will be nothing compared
‘with 1918,
~ “Our business during the first two
‘months of the new year is so far
‘ahead of the same months for the
‘corresponding period a year ago that
comparison is odious,” said Mr. John
gon. “We are as busy as can be, and
1 do not see any let up in sight. Or
ders are coming in on every mail and
our salesmen and shipping crew are
working every night getting out the
many shipments.”
The Bterchi Company is carrying
one of the largest stocks of furniture
that has 'sver been handled by this
house. Car loads are coming in al
most every day and as fast as they
arrive they are unloaded and reship
ped to the retail merchants through
out the South.
\ No particular line or item is in de
mand this year, every plece of fur
rniture that is manufactured has a
‘ready sale. The merchant need not
feel that he will be left with dead
Istock on his hands, if he i 8 not sure
just what' his trade will buy, for the
consumey' today is buying every kind,
shape and style of furniture, rugs
and brica-abrao that is offered.
The really remarkable prices quot
ed by the Sterchi Company should be
a big item with the retaller when it
comes time for him to buy, for good
merchandise at the right price can
be bought from this concern.
