Work Being Pushed
- ¢ Work is progressing rapidly on the
pew $175,000 building for the American
Railway Express, and everything will
bhe completed by February 1, according
1o announcement made Thursday. The
building is located at Mitchell and El
jiott streets, and extends from Mitshell
1o No. 158 North Hunter street. It is 500
feet long and 80 feet wide, and will be
two stories high. ;
Railroad tracks will be placed con
veniently to the east of the building,

on the west side, so rthe receiving of
haggage and other goods for shipment,
1t will be equipped with all modern fur
nishings, and will be one of the finest
express offices in the South.
