Captain Homer Cook has been promoted
to the rank of major in the regular army

Corper and Prof. and Mrs. H. L. Sewell,
has returned to Macon.
Lieutenant Sam Howell, who has been
stationed at Camp Johnston, was in, Car
tersville several days during the past
week. Dr. Howell expects to return soon
