National Bank have been elected for the

R. A. Stafford, vice-president; L. C. Tyus,

J. W. Garland. Mr, W. H. Mitchell, who
has been president the past Year, was re
elected a director, but on acocunt of ill

lough, and is the guest of his parents
Captain and Mrs. John M. Fray and
children left Wednesday for Virginia,
where they will spend several weeks be
fore going to Camp Kearney, Cal., where
Captain Fray has been stationed.

estine,” and the current events were in
charge of Mrs. Lester Hosch.

personalition of the poets, Amy Lowell
and Theodosia Garrison; also some of thelr
representative poems. Mesdames Merrit
and Bridges favored the club with some
vocal selections, after which refreshments
were zrvod by the hostess, assisted by
Mrs. ayward Pearce, Jr.,, and Mrs
Sidney Smith.
Mr. and Mrs. Louls Wisdom motored to
Monroe Tuesday.
Dr. Emory Park and Mrs. Park are at
home, after q;matng two weeks on the
