WELL DONE, TEDDY.
Ensign Tedford H. Cann, better known as Teddy Cann, cham
pion swimmer of the N. Y. A, C,, is back home again after being
awarded the congressional medal of honor for exceptional bravery.
He was a member of the crew of the vessel when she sprany a
leak Cann dove into the flooded bilge and, with pieces of cork,
stopepd the leak, saving the ship.

phone operator with the American forces in France, and her father,
R. G. Hutchins, Jr., president of the National Bank of Commerce,
had served abroad with the home and hospital branch. They also
