Defense Asks That Mistrial Be
Ordered, but Court Insists
That Case Proceed.

and the unsuccessful attempt of the
Adefense to have a mistrial declared
because of the effect on the jury of
the juryman's emotional collapse, fea
tured the Thursday session of the
Criminal Court, where Willlam H. Al
bright is under trial for the murder
of Carfiste H. Christy at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Gay C. Febuary, on the
night of January 2. The court took a
recess until the juror had recove red,
but Judge Humphries overruled the
motion for a mistrial and the testl.
