T HE College Park Woman's Club
held the last meeting of the
yvear at the clubroom on Wednesday |
day afternoon at 3 o'clock. "The occa~-
sion was one of especial significance
and beauty, being the afternoon for
the renorts of the yvear's committees,
snd the sweetnea shower, The re
ports were of great intercst and the
sweetpeas were exauisite and were
yhown in large quantities. The mu
sic committee furnished two lovely
chorus numbers and after the pro
gram ice cream and cake were served,

The sewing Club was delightfully
entertained Friday afternoon by Mrs.
Howard Stokely.
Master Erwin Morgan entertained
about 25 of his little friends at the
home of his parents, Dr. and Mrs. E,
N. Morgan, on Hawthorne avenue,
Thursday afternoon. Lovely refresh
ments were served and each childish
Yheart was delighted with the unique
souvenirs of the occasion, which were
balloons of every color.
Mrs. J. F. Sellers ‘is visiting friends

from Norwood, Ga.. where she was
called on account of the death of her
sister.

Master Thomas Fitzpatrick was
entertained on Tuesday afternoon.

Mrs. George Heard has returned to
her home in Macon, after a visit to
her sister and mother, Mrs. Vance
and Mrs. Mary B. Finlay.
The Masonic reception, which is an
annual affair, was a very enjoyvable
affair of last week. About 500 peo
ple were present.
Miss Kathleen Hughie had as her
guest last week Miss Thelma Hopkins,
of Decatur.

children enjoyed the Maypole dance,
and Mother Goose games, after which
