Sample Air Ride
To Catch Recruits

The latest thing evolved to stim

Colonel B. M. Baliley, head of the

The idea appears a good one to

my first ride in a plane, I found I
could hardly turn my attention to
anything else.”
In case the recruiting office is too
far from the flying field to make it
practical to send a plane for each
man, the officer in charge, if he has
several recruits in towns within a
2C-mile radius of the station, may
arrange with the commanding of

simply because they are not awake to the
condition of thair blood. By allowing it to
remain thin, pale and watery they are not
giving the natural life forces of the body
a chance to do their work. Yet others go
through life apparently possessing, eyear
after year, the clasticity, the suength and
the energy of eariier days, through their
bodies courses the energy and power that
comes from Dplenty of red bicod—filled
with strength-giving iron. Iron is red
blood food and physicians explain below
why they prescribe organic iron—Nuxated
Iron to build up the red blood corpusecles
and give increased power and endurance.
Commenting on the use of Nuxated Iron
as a tonic, strength and blood-builder by
over three millicn peov'e annually, Dr.
James Franecis Sullivan, formerly physi
cian of Bellevue Hospital (Outdoor Dept.),
New York }:\nd the Westchester County
Hospital, said: *\federn methods of cook
ing and the rapid pace at which people of
this century live has made such an alarni
ing inercase-n ifor deficiency in the blood
of American meh and women eat I have
often marveled lar the large number of
people who lack inn in the blood and who
never suspect the Guse of their weak, mer-
send a plane to bring these men to
the station for acceptance, from
which place they will be forwarded
to the flying field for enlistment.

vous, Tun-down state. Lack of iron in the
blood not only makes a man a physical
weakling, nervous, irritable, easily fa
tigued, but it utterly robs him. ¢f that
virile force, that stamina and strength of
will which are so nocessary to success and
power in every walk of life. It may also
transform a Leautiful, sweet-tempered
woman into one who is cross, nervous anl
irritable. I have stiongly emphasized th 2
great necessity of physicians making blood
examinations of their weak, anaemic, run
down patients. Thousands of persons go
on year after year suffering from physi
cal weakness and a highly nervous condi
tion due to lack of sufficient iron in their
blood corpuscles without ever realizing the
real cause of the trouble., But in my
opinion you can’'t make these strong, vig
orous, successful, sturdy iron men by fecd
ing them on metallic iron. The old forms
of metallic iron must go through a di
gestive process to transform them into
organic iron—Nuxated Iron—before they
are ready to be taken up and assimilated
by the human system. Notwithstanding
all that has been said and written on this
subject by well-knoywn physicians, thou
sands of people still insist in dosing them
selves with metallic iron simply, I sup
pose, because it costs a few cents less. 1
strongly advise readers in all cases to gst
a physician’s prescription for organic iron
—Nuxated Iron—or, if you don’t want to go
to this trouble, then purchase only Nux
ated Iron in its original packages and see
that this particular name (Nuxated Iron)
appears on the package. If you have
taken preparations such as Nux and Tron
and other similar products and failed to
get results, ren.ember that such products
are an entirely different thing from Nux
ated Tron.”
