THE LAW of Georgia declares a tinder of
lost goods who, having means of know
ing the rightful owmer, retains them for
the finder’s own use or advantage, may
upon conviction thereof be punished for
simple larceny. A person who finds lost
goods 1s legally liable to the rightfui
owner for their proper care while in the
finder's possession, and he is legally en
titled to be reimbursed for expenses lue
curred in properly caring for the goods
found, and may retain them until suck
expenses are paid.
