voice during the winter in New York

man of the Children’'s Free Clinic with
a part of the proceeds.

Mrs, Henry Callaway, a dainty fan, and
the guest of honor was presented with
a hand-made camisole. About forty

Miss Mary Connally, whose marriage

honor Friday evening at an entertain
ment given by Mrs. Robert Hutchinsoa.
During the evening a guessing contest
was held and the prizes were awarded
to Miss Frances Daniel and Robert
Young. Punch was served by Miss Eliz
abeth Mitchell. The invited guests were
the members of the senior class.of the
LaGrange High school, of which Miss

The reeeption given for Miss Florenee
Day on Friday afternoon at the home of
Mrs. Robert Aycock was one of the most
brilliant affairs of the seasen. The beau
tiful colonial home so suited to enter
taining, was unusually attractive on this
occasion, the parlors being banked with
smilax, ferns and crystal vases filled with
pink roses. The reception was a compli
ment to Miss Day, from the Young Ladies |
