ace. After the marriage the couple left

the Bast Coast of Florida, where they

residence of Miss Emma Melntosh, the
Rev., Robert 8. Sanders officinting. After
the marriage the couple went out to Briar
hill plantation, the country home of the
bridegroom, where they will spend some
weeks,
The marriage of Miss Alise Henricks and
Charles Bryant, both of this ecity, took
place Sunday afternoon at the home of
the hride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W, M,
Hendricks, the Rev. E. M. Overby offi
cinting. Miss Verma Kidd was maid of
honor and the bridesmaids were Miss Eula
Pelle Hendricks and Miss Ella Laura
Kidd, laymend Floyd acted as best man.
White Georgette and satin formed the
lovely gown worn by the bride, and she
carried a bouquet of valley lilles. Astor
a short bridal trip the couple will make
their home in Thomasville,
An interesting mixed foursome of elght
couples was played on the golf links at
the country club Thursday afternoon. The
first prize was won by Mrs. A. T. Cooper
and (. W, Hudson and the second by Mrs,
Rhydon Mays and Addison Trice. Tea
