were entertained on Satur
day evening at Piedmont Driving
Club, which was a large social af
fair of the week end. The tables
were placed on the broad terrace of
the club and a special orchestra fur
nished music for dancing until 12
o’clock.
Robert Maddox was host at a
dinner party, his guests including
Mr. and Mrs. Willlam H. Kiser,
Mr. and Mrs, John W. Grant, Mr.
and Mrs. James L. Dickey, Mr. and

er a visit to Miss Almia Davis at
Newberne, Ga.,, and met Mr. Hall in
Macon. After the congent ot Mr, and
Mrs. Perkins had been secured over
