to take care of our customers. But---
“‘Be patient, and you will get your goods in ample time for your fall trade,” is the message that J. Sail
& Company, the old wholesale men’s and women’s ready-to-wear house, desires to give to its customers.
““Conditions in the clothing business are greatly upset, as you know,” says Mr. Saul, who has been in g
the clothing trade since early boyhood, and in business in A?lant’fig 26 years, the last 15 years in the
present building, No. 48 Wall street, opposite the Union Station.
““We are looking after the interests of our customers, first of all, and we intend to see that their
wants are supplied, at the lowest prices and with the best quality of goods possible under existing conditions.
““It is impossible at this time to fill orders as rapidly as in the past. Three million goldiers have come
out of the service, four million other young men who had expected té be drafted had delayed buying eivil
ian clothing, and all were impatient to be supplied at once.
““If onr enstomers will not grow restless, we feel confident that we shall be able to fill their orders
within reasonable time, -We have large shipments coming, but they will not arrive as early as in past years.”’
The old house of J. Saul & Company has an unexcelled reputation for fair dealing and for looking after
the interests of its customers in Atlanta and the surrounding territory, and a large proportion of these have
been friends of the old house for many years. These old customers know that J. Saw & Company can be
depended upon to look after their interests as faithfully as its own
