day was the dinner party given by
Mr. and Mra, Kdwin at the Kincha~
foonee Country Club complimentary to Mr,
and Mrs. Dermott Shemwell of Lexington,

About thirty-five little giris and boys
were invited to the home of Dr. and Mra,
A. W. Wood on Tift street Monday after
noon to enjoy a party given in honor of
little Miss Banks Oarter Wood, who ceie
brated her fourth birthday, Games, songs
aund dances were enjoyed on the lawn, after
which the children were served ice cream
and cake and given souvenirs. Mrs Wood
was assisted in entertaining by Mrs w,

MeNeill and Miss Gertle Carter,
