Not Cure the “Flu”
Secret, so-called ture-all tonics should be put out of business. Any
medicine that is sold to the public should be prescribed by a physi
cian and the formula on the package. If you are debilitated, run-down
in health, no appetite, can’t sleep, get up in the morning not rested,
if you have had the “Flu” or any debilitating disease and still feel
£ effects, you need iron in your system, quinine to purify your
blood, citrate of potassium to purify your kidneys, and nitric acid
for the liver and bowels. CHILL-EASE is the preparation you need.
It contains these ingredienis and has the formula on each package,
and has been prescribed by one of the best physicians in the South
for the last thirty years. One bottle will produce resuits or your
money back. Ask your physician or druggist. All druggists sell
Chill-Ease for 76c per bottle, on our guarantee. Get a bottle today.
For Chills and Fever Chill-Ease has never failed. Chill-Ease is

Jas. R. Seawright on Ticket
With W. M. (“Bill”) Poole For
Fulton County Tax Collector
Definite announcement is made by
W. M. (“Bill") Poole that J. R. Sea
wright, well-known alderman from
the First Ward, is connected with
him as one of his leading deputies
in his race for Fulton County Tax
Collector,
Mr. Seawright has been one of
the leading figures in municipal af
fairs for several years, and is now
serving his city as alderman from
the First Ward for the third term.
During the administration of ex-
Mayor Candler he was mayor pro
tem, making one of the most effi
cient and capable presiding officers
the city has ever had.
Por many years Mr. Seawright
was a successful business man of
this city, retiring from active busi
ness a few years ago. Since that
time, Mr. Seawright has, perhaps,
been as busily engaged as at any
time during his active business ca
reer, for he served the government
as chairman of Local Exemption
Board No. 1 during the war, and
has devoted much time to the study
of city affairs, giving a great deal
of his time and attention to his
duties as alderman,
Mr. Seawright's connection will
unquestionably draw a great deal of
strength to the “Bill" Poole ticket,
as he has'a host of warm personal
friends and an extensive acquainte
ance amrng the citizens of Atlanta
and Fuliun county. -
Mr. Seawright has Been an active
worker in secret and fraternal or
ders for thirty years, being a mem
ber of the Masons, the B. P. O. K,
and other orders.
In speaking of Mr. Poole and his
race for tax collector, Saturday, Mr.
Seawright sald:
“1 have become associated ,vith
‘Mr. Poole (whom everybody knows
as ‘Bill' Poole) !} his raece for tax
“coliector for the reason that I have
known him for many years, and
have always held him in high es
teem personally. He has been suc

and kept me clearing it of mucus day
and night. My ears would ring and
my breath had a very unpleasant
odor. ‘
“My appetite was poor and 1 could
not eat such things as cabbage, beans
and tomatoes. In fact, there were
very few vegetables and little meats
I could eat. | was nervous, weak and
seemed to be losing weight and
strength every day. I tried all kinds
of medicines, but nothing seemed to
help me.
“Then 1 heard about Pomeroy's
Puratone and decided to try it. The
results were wonderful. I improved
from the very beginning. - Not onlry
has the catarrah been relieved, -but
my stomach trouble is a thing of the
past. © My head has cleared up and I
feel great.” I haven't a sign of a
‘trouble now, my strength has been in
creased wonderfully and I have gained
nine pourds. I have a splendid appe
tite and can eat anything [ want—
such things as beans, cabbage, stew
meat and the like agree with me per
fectly and everything tastes so good.
This Puratone has certainly made a
well man of me in a very short time,‘
and I can not praise it too highly.
It's wonderful.”
Puratone is especially introduced
in Atlanta under the supervision of
the Puratone representative at the
main store of Jacobs’ Pharmacy. It
can also be obtained at any of the
Jacobs' stores. One leading druggist
in every town has the exclusive agency
for Puratone. Over thirty thousand:
bottles sold in Georgia alone in five
weeks.—Adv. ‘

Steward of Almighty God
What was the secret of Lincoln’s power?
He revealed it once in a letter to a personal
friend: N
“l hold myself as an instrument of Prov- g
idence. I have my own views and purposes. I
have my convictions of duty and
my notions of what is right.
« “But 1 am conscious at every
moment that all that | am, all that
I have is subject to the control
of a Higher Power.”
“An instrument of Providence''—
a steward of Almighty God—in that
conviction lay his mastery.
