than 200 Americans in Berlin, in

men who went to Germany seeking
trade. The Red ('ross has sent funds
ta the Red Cross representatives at
Berlin and is preparing to riish truck
loads of food If actual famine is
threatened.

formed a coalition against both the
Von Kapp and Ebert governments in
Germany, according to a dispatch to
the Dally Herald today from Philops

Price said he had been informed by
leaders of the coalition movement
that they would work for the fall of
the revolutionary government and
would give no assistance to the old
Ebert government in its efforts to

Ebert government has asked the al
lied nations te withhold recognition
of the revelutionary government, it
was anneunced at the state depart
ment late Wednesday.
The state department announced it
‘had received advices fram Berlin that
the Ebert government desired to ex
plain its withdrawal from Berlin was
to prewent bloodshed. The statements
of the Ebert government are beging
distributed by airplane, the state de
partment was advised.
No announcement was made by the
state department that this govern
ment has yet received any communi
cation from the Ebert government.

STUTTGART, March 16 (delayed).
“Order will be restored in Germany
within six or eignt days,” it was de
clared here teday by Gustav Noske,
minigter of defense in the Ebert gov
ernment. The minister believes that
the Von Kapp regime will be short
lived. He said:
“Bavaria Baden, Saxon, the Rhine
land, Waestphalia and the whole of
Central Germany are remaining
stanch in their guppert of the Ebert
government.
“We Lave large eontingents of the
reichewehr at our dispesal.
“At Hamburg tne sailors and sol
diers remained loyg! and arrested the
officers supporting Von Kapp.
“I am confilent order will be re
stored in six or eight days, and that
we shall compel obedience from all
troops.”
President Ebert deelared: “There
can be no questign of an understand
ing with men who perjured ‘“em
selves and proved themselves anemies
of the constitution. Their word could
not be trusted ”
