get possession of Mary Ruth, whose
mother and father are separated.
In the petition tiled In the supe
rior court, ’Goss alleges that he and his
wife are separated, and that since
they started living apart. 1 he has had
possssslon of their 5-year-old girl.
On June 2, 1306, It Is claimed that
Mrs. Goss .went to 385 Glenwood ave

a sensational nature are made against
Mrs. Goss In the petition; which also
asks that Mrs. Dickerson and Mm.

Packers’ Statement.
The statement of the packers fol

"The question raised as to whether
diseased meats are sold by our packing
houses Is a question on which the whole
world walls the fact,, and the truth
must be told. Is the entire meat and
live stock Industry to have a ‘square
deal?’ This vital side of the whole
question, however, I, absolutely Ignored
in President Rooaevelt'a message, and
all but omitted from notice In the Neill

’Kvery pound of meat In our packing
houses comes from animals which are
Inspected and passed by trained veteri
