ket opened irregular with numerous
declines. Atchison and Amalgamated
lost 1-Sc; American Locomotive, Union
Pacific, Missouri Pacific and Steel
common l-4c. The laat mentioned
started In with 1,000 shares at 40.
Colorado Fuel lost 3->c, Reading open
ed 6-0c lower, declined In all 11-lc,
and recovered about half the loss. At
the end ot live minutes trading, the
stock waa t-lc net lower. On the
other hand, Baltimore and Ohio start
ed In 3-4c higher, and Canadian Pa
cific showed a gain of 1-Jc, Brooklyn
Rapid Tnvielt, Erie, St. Paul and
Pennsylvania unchanged.
The price movements In the first
hour were practically to lower levels.
There waa persistent pressure In Steel
common. Governments unchanged.
