northeast wind and rain storm raged
throughout this section. Com was
blown down while the tender cotton
plant was twisted and whipped
f deeps. ‘Shade trees were uprooted and
n other ways damaged.

Dallas, Tex., June U.—The horribly
mangled remain* of two young white
men were found lying along side of
the Santa Fe railway, a mile north of
Fort Worth, Tex.
Both bodies had been mutilated be
yond recognition by passing trains, the
head of one having been entirely sev
ered from the body, and was 200 feet
from the trunk.
From letters and papers found on
the persons of the men. It was leant d I
that one of them was Jack Bishop, of.
Montague county, Texas, and the other
W. Jarkson. whose place of residence
Is not known.
Bullet wound* were found In the
bodies of both men, and the officers are
working on the theory that they were
murdered and tbelr bodice placed on
the track to hide the evidence of the
crime. From tho condition of the track
near the dead bodies. It was evident
that a terrible struggle had taken
place.
Three hale were found near the
bodies; slao a alx-ehoter, open bowl*
knife, and a pair of brass knucks. The
mutilated remains were gathered up
and taken to Fort Worth, where they
will be held for further Identtflca-
