Dallas, Texas, June 10.—In a fight which occurred yesterday afternoon at Waco, Tennessee Thompson and John Culbsnon, two negroes, were riddled with buckshot and Instantly killed. E. W. Decatur, Ala., June 10.—Some Inter, estlng figures, showing th* rapid Indus trial and agricultural development of Alabama, are given by the emigra tion and Industrial department of th* Louisville and Nashville railroad. Among other things, the report shows that during th* past year this depart ment has located In Alabama along the lines of the Louisville and Nashville railroad 720 families, consisting of !,- 664 people. These people moved upon and purchased 42,421 acres of farming lands, ovsr 76 per cent of these people are from the state* of Ohio, Indians, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin. They are all well-to-do farmers. Of these X enons who hare located In Alabama uring the past year there were 1,277 Americans, 646 Germans, 471 Scandi navians and the remainder being made up of the various nationalities.
