Mrs Evelyn Nenblt Thaw made the
■latemant today that she was married
abroad before coming to thin country
and going through another ceremony
In compliance with tha request of
Harry Thaw’s mother. Mrs. Thaw
stated, further, that the valet, Bed
ford, could not have said to Assistant
District Attorney Garvan that no mar
riage had taken place In Europe.
“Wa Wars Married Abroad."
"I waa married lo Mr. Thaw while
abroad-’’ she said, "and before tha cer

have tha proof, which wilt be produced
at tha trial. All statements to tha
contrary are untrue. If tha valet, Bed

Mora Hatred Ravaalad.
Mora evidence of the Implacable ha

between Harry Thaw and Stanford
White for months preceding lha tragic
result of tha young millionaire's en

Pittsburg today.
■Not long after the marriage of Harry

men In Mr. White's Interest. What
Mr. White wants is this: Ha la vary
anxious to discredit Harry Thaw
every possible manner. He baa i
sons for doing this, and he Is willing
to spend almost any sum If It can ba
done successfully. We have detectives
watching his movements every minute
of the day. He Is vulnerable. What
you are to do la to receive the reports
of these men and cause them to ba
printed In Pittsburg and New York
papers. You may draw on me for aa
much money as you can use. You need
not render qn accounting. All Ve want

Tha manifest Impossibility and ab
surdity of the scheme was brought to
McDonald’s attention by the nttaburg
man, who flatly refused lo have any
thing In do with It. Thaw waa made
acquainted with the conspiracy. The
revelation threw him Into a profound
rage. Through a third person he
caused White to understand that ha
