As host the Thomas Jefferson Chap
ter, Daughters of the American Revo
lution, provided a delightful afternoon
lor many guests by a well-arranged
and splendidly executed program at
Croigle House, Piedmont park, on the
Fourth of July.
Members of the four local chapters
gathered at the beautiful home before
the appropriate program was opened
by an Invocation, lira Miller Hutch
ins, regent of the chapter. In charge,
delivered a short address of welcome
to the three other chaptera. This waa
answered In no less pleasing manner
by Mrs. Thomas Morgan, regent of the
Atlanta chapter.

was mode by George M. Napier, of
Macon, who Is junior warden of the
grand lodge of Georgia. Mr. Napier's
address was In the nature of a Fourth
of July oration, his subject bring “Free
Masonry and tho Growth of tho Ameri
can Republic."
