Found Guilty of Assault.
Frank Buffington, a negro, was found
guilty yesterday in the superior court
of assault on Tom Clarke, another ne
gro, and sentenced to twelve months
on the chalngang and to pay a $200
line at the expiration of that time or

Death of an Infant.
The Infant son of Mr. and Mr*. R.
I,. Willingham died yesterday after a
