There la an aU-atar ahow schedule for the

New York, July 26.—There waa much
discussion around town concerning the de
cision In the McGarey-Hosey fight on Sun-
day.
The McGnrey men contend that Araby
as slipped the hooks, and that ho was
fouled deliberately. Hooey's friends claim
that McGnrey, feeling hla strength fading,
fell—trying to win on a foul.
It renlly did look as though McGarey
was slowing up; but he has been such a
tough proposition In the past that it seems
strange how ho could weakeu In three
rounds. ✓ N
The first blow which McGarey claimed
was foul was not. It did not bother him
nny more than It bothered me, tiecause hla
knee Is tough, and It landed there. Mc
Garey was anxious to lose ou a foul, any
way.
WUHe Lewis claims that he la the’
“nearest champion*' that ever lived. Willie
wanted to be welterweight champ and
outboxed Joe Gana, In New Y’ork, getting
up near It. Then he met Hon^y Melody,
the white champion, and had the latter
on the floor at the count of eight The
next ronnd Willie went out.
“What d'ye think of that,’? sajTa Lewis.
“Two more seconds, and It would have
lideni mine. Gee! It was near." .
Joe Murray, of Newark, and Eddie Gil
martin, of Jersey City, are to meet again
and fight It out for the featherweight
championship of Jersey. The boys met
several weka ago, and Murray put GU
martin away.
At Gardner, of Phenlxvllle. Pa., has been

Philadelphia, to meet Tommy Murphy next
Friday night. The boy* are to meet at

Harry Lewis, the Philadelphia light
