the city. They are on their way to
the Pacific coast. Sharp led a parade

streets here about a year ago, which
resulted In one of the band being sent
to the asylum.

at Island Mills, this county, had his
right arm caught In the cogs of a mill
wheel today and was probably fatally
Injured. The arm was practically torn
from his body.

danian has written a letter to one of
the friends of Selbe Smith, of Lauder
dale county, that he does not Intend to
pardon him. Smith Is an ex-Confedcr-
ate and was sentenced to the ponlten-
tlary from Lauderdale county for the
killing of his son.

were hurriedly brought to Newport In
special car, while Drs. Charles Stew
art and Jacoby, among the meet expert

performance of the operation.
