New York. Ang. 29.—The market for cot
ton seed oil was quiet with tone rather
heavy. Near dellrertea continue to show
evidence of aupport, nnd with the small
storks such support is comparatively easy.
The distant deliveries, however, were easy,
aad the general tone was against values.
Decline In cotton and estimate of a big cot-
crop gave sellers of the forward deliver-

Unfavorable technical deductions of our
Tuesday morning’s editorial as regard* gen
eral bullish aggressiveness, but favoring

day’s session, the developments presented
this morning from Philadelphia and Rus
sia are such as to encourage further l»cnr-
lah operations, although we expect to see
the market supported. We think the re

factors now existing will, however, prevent
