the marriage, of Mayor Myers to Mrs,
Virginia Guckenhelmer, nee Gersl, at
Danville, Va., hag been received here
The ceremony took place Tuesday, aft.
er which Mr. and Airs. Myers left for
Yellowstone Park. Mrs. Myers was the
widow of the late Samuel Gucken
helmer, of this city, and Is well known
here. The approaching marriage was
kept a profound secret.
To Extract Wood Turpentine.

Institute opened Tuesday with the
largest enrollment In Its history for
Its fall term. The attendance was
about 200 scholars. The trustees have
