Grandma Darby was the Interesting hostess at the Home for Old Women Monday afternoon from 4 to 6 o'clock. Many called, wishing her many happy returns of this her nlnety-llfth birth day. The parlor was beautifully dec orated in white and pink roses, the gift of Westvlew Floral Company. On the veranda was suspended Japanese lanterns, compliments of J. M. High Company. Refreshments were served at small tables, having carnations as centerpieces. The birthday cake, the gift of Nathan’s bakery, was very handsome, aglow with Its nlnety-flve bright candles. The day was a happy one for Mrs. Darby, os she sat In the seat of honor, surrounded by loving companions, and received the congrat ulations of friends.
